This reproduction Regal sound deadener/insulation inner trunk divider has the jute-style backing and is sandwiched behind the rear upper back seat cushion and the trunk frame support. The trunk divider was originally installed by GM on their cars as a factory sound deadening material. In some cases, your car’s divider may be falling apart, have cuts, or may be missing. The grey jute trunk divider is shown installed in one photo. It appears behind the factory frame supports and our optional rear seat frame brace set. Photo was taken using my personal 1987 Turbo-T. (The optional rear seat frame brace kit, Part #1586, is also visible in this photo.) Although not visible, the backside of this trunk divider jute material is black and has the cut outs at the top so it can be installed just like the factory trunk jute divider. Since the other side is light-weight vinyl, it is very flexible. This makes it easy to install once you remove the back seat cushion.
Another nice finishing touch to any trunk interior or restoration.
